appealingsites.com

appealingsites.com is a computer tutoring company located in Bend, Or.  The company is owned by Dave Ulrich and has been in operation beginning in late 2008.

Dave realized that a lot of people were burned out on trying to make their computers work for them.  Their computers were slow, fraught with viruses and spyware, and the applications running were outdated.  Dave saw how people were frustrated and resigned to giving up all hope of "enjoying" their computer.

Dave also realized that if people could take a few steps to speed up their computer, clear out viruses and spyware, and install the latest open-source and FREE software, people would be unleashed to reap the benefits of new technology.  Going further, he realized that there is so much information on the Internet that it makes most peoples head spin and there is a need to "pull it all together".  The idea of bare-bones tutoring classes was born.  The focus would be on "saving money and having fun!".

Dave received a B.S. in General Science from the University of Oregon in 1976. After a thirty year career in technology related industries including twenty-seven years with GTE and Verizon, Dave has worked as a technical writer, a consultant, web designer, and web developer.

Previous Training

"Make the Most of Your Digital Photos"

I want to thank all who attended the digital photos class at the Bend Senior Center on January 27th.  There was a lot of good energy and I am sure the attendees will now be able to share photos and movies with family and friends like never before.

Again, thank you to all who attended!
